Mandana Mishra did not
take Sanyasa and is not Sureshvara Acharya. After accepting the Advaita Vad of
Adi Shankara, Mandana Mishra wrote, under that same the Brahmasiddhi, which surpassed even the books of Adi Shankara Acharya as the representative of Shankaras Advaita Vada. Commentaries on the works of Adi Shankara were written by Sureshvara
and stylistically are not of the same author as Brahmasiddhi.
