The
Indian Panjab are the Plains between the Himalaya, the Yamuna River, The
Rajasthan plateau and Thar Desert and the border with Pakistan. It is distinguishably part of the Sindhu River Basin.
Parts of South-East Haryana are excluded as are linguistically, geologically and culturally part of the Rajasthan Plateau region to the South.
The Sub-Regions are based on the language composition.

Panjabi speaking region and peoples, with high proportion being Sikh. Very fertile Alluvial Plains.
Haryana - Sub-Region
Haryanvi (Hindi dialect) speaking region and peoples, with +90 being Hindu. Very fertile Alluvial Plains.
Bagar - Sub-Region
Bagri, a dialect of Rajasthani(Hindi family) speaking peoples of Semi-Desertified mostly irrigated Plains. Bagri is a transition dialect of Rajasthani in contact with Panjabi and Haryanvi.
Panjab (India) Region - Hindu-Sikh Concentration
All Sikh was/is just another denomination of Hindu, it is the only denomination which has statistics :
