West-Central Uplands – Super-Region




Paschim-Madhya Shailaprastha - 




The Madhya Bharata Shailaprastha / Central Uplands are divided into West and East by 2 factors :

- Bhil peoples in the West //// and Gond Peoples in the East
- Central Hindi and Eastern Hindi 





The Bundelkhand plains are included here for 2 reasons - they are hilly unlike the Ganga Plains and the other half of Bundelkhand is plateau/hills.
Semi-Arid Plains areas in the North-West are ethno-linguistically as well as geologically contiguous.
